CLAY
impermeable sedimentary rock

According to a mineralogical profile, clay is an impermeable sedimentary rock, a simple material nature provides spontaneously. Since old times man started to process it with the help of water and hands, later on by means of a lathe.
It was and it is used to make jars, jugs, amphoras, tiles, and bricks.
Our passion for raw materials and the wish to go on using them for the carrying out of our handmade articles, led us to take it into consideration matching it with raw durmast. To achieve it we make use of crude clay laid with a spatula, thus obtaining a unique textured refined and elegant final product, which can easily take place in contemporary designed environments.
